Making A Leather Drawstring Pouch.

I needed a new pouch to contain my medical kit, as I needed to add more items. I decided to make this into a video.

Gunpowder Bag/Wallet.

These are my three gunpowder bags. They are used for carrying extra gunpowder on a long trek. Bags of this size are lighter than a powder horn and being more flexible they are easier to fit into my knapsack or scrip. The bags are secured by folding the top down and tieing with cordage or a leather tie.

When empty of gunpowder, this bag can be used to store extra plant tinder material.

“   takes fire readily from the spark of a steel: but it is much improved by being kept dry in a bag that has contained gunpowder.”
